Rehabilitative
Occupational therapist:
Evaluation of the patient level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures
Guiding the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities of daily living for the purpose of improving function
Instructions in adaptations necessary for the performance of activities of daily living
Design and instruction in the use of adaptive devices

Medical social worker:
Referral to community resources
Providing rehabilitative and supportive casework
Assistant patient and family with social, emotional, and environmental issues relating to patient health problems
Assistance with insurance questions or issues
Physical Therapy:
Evaluation of patient by administering muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests
Treating patients to relieve pain, develop, or restore function, maintain maximum performance, utilizing teaching, exercises, message, applicable treatments, and modalities
Directing and assisting patients in active and passive exercises, muscle, re-education, and functional mobility training, activities of daily living, including transfer activities, orthotics/prosthetic training, and wheelchair mobility management
Provision of therapy utilizing equipment such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound
Teach; instruct patient/caregiver in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, prosthetic, and orthotic devices
